Pottery wheel throwing is one of the fundamental skills in ceramics. Learning pottery wheel throwing allows artists and artisans to create unique objects, from bowls to vases. Here are the basic concepts related to pottery wheel throwing:

  1. Potter's wheel: A special device for throwing clay, which rotates with the help of a pedal or electric motor.
  2. Wheel throwing technique: The process of shaping clay on the wheel by gently kneading and modeling with hands or tools.
  3. Throwing workshops: Meetings where instructors teach wheel throwing techniques, helping participants develop their skills.
